Newport citizens
Ngaikina Fursa group weaves baskets & bags using sisal they grow. The sisal is manually stripped, dyed then woven into baskets & bags. The grouop's members are disabled people, many of which are blind. To create cultural awreness we propose 4 members + Dr Nyaga to visit Newport where events will be held in the Art Gallery, Newport library and visits to local educational establishments providing demonstrations & creating cultural awareness for all participants.
For all above listed ie disabled, children , elderly etc
