Young people will be able to take level 1 coaching courses and Introduction to umpiring courses, therefore improving their prospects and qualifications.
Children and young people will have access to specialist netball equipment, therefore improving their training experience. It will improve the quality of coaching, therefore offering opportunity to progress along netball pathways.
Many of our younger members come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Funding for our own equipment would ensure our club continues to run as a safe and enjoyable environment for these members.
Our club has 4 junior teams and 4 adult teams.
We are a non-profit netball club, set up 4 years ago to enable girls and women in deprived areas of Newport to access recreational netball. Our club has expanded rapidly, and we are now in need of funding for equipment and training courses to serve our expanding club. This funding will allow us to keep our fees low, therefore not creating a barrier for families on a low income.
4 junior teams aged between 10-17
4 adult teams including a social team (aged 30-60)
