MindSpace is building a resilient minority community among men and women in Newport, promoting awareness, and empowering the community through training, and open dialogue. This has led to over 1700 subscribers to our channel
MindSpace supports the minority community in Newport by offering a safe space to discuss mental health and social issues, while promoting awareness and skills through live media chats and free training, strengthening wellbeing within the community.
MindSpace empowering young people by promoting positive mental health role models, increasing awareness, and providing training that helps break seclusion. It also builds intergenerational understanding and builds safer, more supportive communities.
The project will contribute to the ongoing mental health awareness drive by CultureMindsUK in African communities, promoting a better understanding of mental health and well-being, tackling biases, and stigma associated with it.

MindSpace: is a project by CultureMindsUK. The project provides ongoing discussions and training on mental health awareness in minority communities for men and women. This is a transforming space for conversations, and knowledge/skills acquisition. MindSpace has hosted MH awareness training sessions in partnership with a recognised trainer, and certificates issued for free. Over 80 persons (men and women) in Newport are expected to be trained in mental health awareness by end of October 2025.
