The project will enhance social skills, confidence, and emotional wellbeing in children with additional needs through inclusive play. It also offers a safe, supportive space where they can thrive and build friendships within their local community.
The project offers free, inclusive weekend support for children with additional needs, giving relief to low-income families, reducing isolation, and improving wellbeing for both children and parents from disadvantaged backgrounds in Newport.
Up to 40 children and 30 families supported in Newport
A weekly community support session every Saturday for children with additional needs from migrant and vulnerable families in Newport. Through structured play, games, and inclusive activities, we aim to promote social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and parental respite. Delivered in partnership with Swift Care Services, who will provide trained and vetted support workers.
