I would like to thank Raven Trust and the amazing team at Newport. I am a disabled single man, the thought of going to buy the items was daunting. They were very kind and considerate of my disability, which made the process very comfortable for me.
We support people in our community who are in poverty and crisis. We provide support to people who walk in and also those referred by local agencies.
We work with agencies to help the homeless when they are housed with the provision of furniture and food. We meet with people and help in other ways too such as by inviting them to our events such as warm meals at Christmas.
Many people that we support are unemployed. We help people by providing them with the basics needed for daily life so that they can focus on building a future. We provide additional support such as providing them with clothing to attend interviews.
We work with adults in the community that need our support. These could be individuals or parents of families. Some are referred to us by agencies and some walk in to our charity shop.
We work with children and young people in our community who have very little. We visit schools and when families are referred to us, we work to support them by providing food, furniture, toys or inviting them to our events such as Christmas parties.
We support people in our community isolated from society, lack of access to opportunities, living in high-risk areas, women, the elderly, disabled, variety of cultural backgrounds without English or Welsh as a first language, drug/alcohol issues etc
We provide to support to everyone in our community who needs it where we can. We will always listen to their needs and provide support or signpost them to someone who can. This is often important as people don't know where to turn.

I want to express my great respect for the way you all worked with my client the other day. He was provided with positive and clear answers. It is really appreciated how you dealt with him, nothing but kindness and professionalism.
