Our History

  • New Ways is a UK-based charity established in 1994. Our aim is to build a foundation for communities to achieve economic independence. We believe everyone has the potential to be self-sufficient but many need support to achieve that goal. We fund water, nutrition, health, agriculture & education programmes in Kenya, Malawi, South Sudan and Ethiopia

Areas of Operation

  • Ethiopia

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

What a child eats today will have a striking and lasting impact on his or her physical and mental health into adulthood. It is essential and crucial that food of nutritional value is provided to help children grow and develop physically and at school

  • The General Public / Mankind

Access to health services is severely restricted in the areas we support and includes mobile clinics and a primary health care programmes that ensure even the remotest communities are able to benefit from health care and medical services.

Our Vision for a better future

  • Through our projects and programmes we help and empower communities to become self-reliant and no longer dependent on aid, helping communities to thrive. Our priorities are determined in-situ with the engagement of local communities, and projects are established and supported for the long term, in locations with limited or no infrastructure.

Our goals to make a difference

  • People have access to health care and medical services through mobile clinics & primary health care.

  • People have access to clean water for themselves their livestock and to support agriculture.

  • Children of all ages have access to high quality education and nutritional food when at school.
