Our History

  • An appeal to save a young man’s life prompted a group of friends to raise awareness of blood cancer and money for bone marrow donation. The charity helps people navigate diagnosis and treatment providing counselling if needed, we support children going back to school after treatment we fund research into causes of and treatments for cancer.

  • Children / Young People

    Diagnosed with blood cancer and their siblings. We provide support to parents, practical or financial support (such as hotel accommodation for parents). We support schools to welcome children back to school after treatment.

  • Adults

    Adults with blood cancer and family members. We support people through diagnosis and treatment, help with second opinions, provide counselling and grief counselling.

  • Elderly / Old People

    Older people with leukaemia similar offer to younger adults, often help with benefits advice. We fund research into blood cancers that affect older people - this research is poorly funded compared to childhood cancer research.
