Our History

  • Established in 2001, Aspire has now been tackling the most complex social issues in Oxfordshire for 20 years. We support local people into and towards employment and housing, as the most powerful way to break the complex cycles of homelessness, re-offending and poverty.

Areas of Operation

  • England: Oxfordshire

Beneficiaries

  • Homeless & ex convicts

Through our Housing Accomodation and Homeless Prevention services, we support individuals to prevent them from rough sleeping and start to lay the foundations for their journey towards independance.

  • Unemployed

Our Employability programmes, support individuals that are looking to re-entered the workforce through our education, training and employment initiatives.

  • Marginalised or vulnerable groups

Individuals from refugee communities, young people, and prison leavers each face unique barriers to achieving independence. At Aspire, we recognise that no two journeys are the same, so we meet people where they are, providing person-centred support

Our Vision for a better future

  • Aspire has achieved over 300% growth since 2012/13. We are proud to work in partnership with 31 organisations across Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley to reach those most in need of our specialist support. We are doing more than ever before to tackle the growing homelessness and unemployment crisis that our community is facing.
