Rare Charity offers access to education to talented people who live in marginalised agricultural tea communities. Our aim is to give ambitious young people the agency to uplift themselves, their households and their communities. We currently operate in the Satemwa Tea community of Malawi, Africa, a country where higher-ed enrolment is the lowest in the world. We strive to foster a cohort of qualified national professionals, postured to induce change in their own local community and country.
