From restoring rivers in the Cotswolds to reintroducing pine martens, our conservation projects are working to secure a brighter future for both wildlife and wild places across the county. We are also working to reverse the loss of wildlife.
We work with local communities in many ways, from bringing together communities to improve hedgehog habitat connectivity, to supporting carers and connecting them to nature. We want everyone in the county to value, enjoy and share their wildlife.
Not too long ago, Gloucestershire was filled with extraordinary wildlife. Today, many species are in decline or have disappeared, and we see fewer signs of abundance. We intend to reverse that loss and bringing nature back to Gloucestershire.
