We really appreciated the support and funding and as a result this will now be a monthly event. The help and the grant made a huge difference in getting an idea of the ground. Educating about food waste and low energy cooking is so important in this
Events run by network members are open to all and intended to educate and inspire individual and community action on environmental and social issues
A number of member groups are working on nature recovery, including tree and hedgerow planting, verge and meadow management and other projects to increase local biodiversity.
We apply for funding from and collaborate with other charities and voluntary bodies on a regular basis. Examples include Friends Provident Foundation, Wild Oxfordshire, Oxford Friends of the Earth and the International Tree Foundation.
Adults are the primary attendees at member group events. Events range from repair cafes and swap shops to community tree planting and food growing.
