Grant Criteria In A Nut Shell

The general criteria for all grants and their evaluation is that the interventions, projects, and activities proposed tackle inequality, are accessible, and reach those most affected by the cost of living crisis. They must contribute to the goal of creating equal opportunities for all people in Newport despite their socio-economic backgrounds, disabilities, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, location, and health status. We are looking for innovative approaches, which can find alternative funding and continuance from other funding sources in the future. Projects, events, and activities must consider their environmental impact and work to reduce waste and CO2 generation within their capabilities and budget considerations. Activities can be targeted to any age group and culture, promoting equal opportunities throughout Newport.
