Our History

  • Class Of Your Own Limited was established by former land surveyor Alison Watson MBE in 2009. After working on the UK Government 'Building Schools for the Future' scheme, she determined to change the way that sectors in the Built Environment and Infrastructure were perceived through the creation of the 'Design Engineer Construct! Learning Programme.

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

We work in secondary schools and FE to deliver a range of programmes, including project-focused bite sized awards, work experiences, T level employer support and the 'DEC' programme with recognised qualifications at level 1, 2 and 3 with UCAS points.

  • The General Public / Mankind

Our future-ready talent create and inspire a sustainable, innovative world. By equipping young people with industry skills, we drive greener smart cities, improve infrastructure and promote net zero solutions, benefitting communities.

  • Environment

By embedding environmental awareness in our programmes, we inspire future professionals to prioritise nature, reduce carbon footprints, and enhance green spaces in the built environment.

Our Vision for a better future

  • We inspire, educate and empower children and young people to digitally design, engineer and construct the world around them. Working in partnership with industry, we create world-leading 'DEC' projects that focus on the Built Environment and its associated infrastructure. Together, we deliver genuine social, economic and environmental impact.
