Our History

  • Award winning social enterprise connecting urban communities with the nature on their doorstep. We aim to improve wellbeing whilst nurturing communities who look after their local nature and take action on climate change. We focus our work in areas of deprivation, where we can tackle inequalities and improve urban nature.

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

    We work in schools and provide holiday playclubs that enable children to play and learn in nature.

  • People with Disabilities

    We work with adults living with mild to severe mental health challenges, through green prescribing programmes. We work with children living with mental health issues, emotional and behavioural challenges including 1:1 therapeutic support.

  • People Of A Particular Ethnic Or Racial Origin

    We focus on urban areas rich in ethnic diversity

  • Nature

    We work with conservation volunteers and the public to improve poor quality urban green space to plant trees, restore habitats and enrich biodiversity.

  • The General Public / Mankind

    Our campaign work and large scale green space events are aimed at everyone, helping us all integrate the health and wellbeing beneifts of nature into our lives, learn what we can do for the climate and discover our role as custodians of nature.

  • Our vision is to co-create a world where people and nature thrive. We hope that our lasting legacy will be to help build creative, healthy, and resilient communities with a sense of place and belonging and urban nature spaces rich in biodiversity across the country. We believe in nature and creative arts for all.

  • Nature wellbeing programmes available to children and adults, living with mental health challenges.

  • Families embedding local nature into the everyday, supporting health and wellbeing
