Our History

  • In 2020 Sasha Treharne founded this talk following personal mental health struggles. It set up to help destigmatise mental health by facilitating events and workshops in schools, universities & corporations. By sharing real-life experiences of mental health, with a range of speakers and topics, we hope to give clarity to the collective mindset.

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

Through events in schools & universities we hope to further educate children & young people about mental health and well-being. This will allow them to prepare for potential struggles in later life.

  • People with Disabilities

Through running specifically, tailored events, we hope to create spaces where people with disabilities can discuss specific struggles with mental health that they may face and how to seek help.

  • People Of A Particular Ethnic Or Racial Origin

Some of our speakers are able to discuss topics specific to particular ethnic communities.

  • Adults

By working with schools, unis & companies, we hope to educate employees, teachers, staff and other adults about mental health & well-being.

Our Vision for a better future

  • Following the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, we hope to be able to facilitate events and workshops in schools, universities and organisations in order to raise awareness and educate audiences about mental health and well-being struggles and how they may overcome these. We hope we can create a positive social impact.

Our goals to make a difference

  • To raise awareness and educate about mental health struggles through tailored & captivating events.

  • Promote positive well-being in the workplace by partnering with companies to increase productivity

  • Bridge the gap between help-seeing behaviours in marginalised communities by destigmatising topics.

  • Facilitate events specific for marginalised groups to create safe environments.
