Our History

  • Beacon HWB was founded in January 2025 by friends from ethnic minority backgrounds who saw a gap in local, culturally appropriate support for parents. We provide a safe inclusive space offering workshops, peer support and well-being activities to help families connect, thrive and feel empowered.

  • Children / Young People

    We will help children/young people build confidence, connect with role models and grow as leaders. We will bring the whole community together to celebrate culture and empower the young people in our community

  • People Of A Particular Ethnic Or Racial Origin

    Enhance social inclusion and cultural integration, by celebrating ethnic heritage, providing mentorship and creating spaces for growth, connection and leadership.

  • Adults

    Adults in the community will benefit by engaging as mentors, sharing their experiences and strengthening community bonds through workshops, the panel discussion.

    The community will benefit by coming together to celebrate culture, strengthen connections, empower young people, and create lasting opportunities for growth and unity.

Our goals to make a difference

  • Creating safe spaces for parents to share experiences, access resources, and receive guidance on parenting, education, and community engagements.

  • Promote mental and emotional well being - address isolation and emotional challenges by creating safe, inclusive and supportive community spaces

  • Youth Empowerment: Providing mentorship, career guidance, and leadership programs to inspire and equip young people with the tools to thrive

  • Facilitating skills training, career coaching, and entrepreneurship programs to enhance employability and economic stability within the community.
