Pride in the Port 2025 will deliver Newport's flagship LGBTQIA+ event, bringing communities together through celebration, inclusion and visibility. The event promotes wellbeing, strengthens community cohesion, provides volunteering and skills opportunities and helps make Newport a safer, more inclusive city for all. Pride in the Port also hosts a programme of events in support of this and supports grassroots activity in the lead-up to hosting UK Pride 2026 - the first to be held in Wales.
