I'd completely ruled out the top universities as I didn't think I could get into them but The Scholars Programme helped me realise that I could get into any place I wanted to if I tried hard enough. It really opened up the options I’d given myself.
We support young people facing the biggest barriers to higher education including: those eligible for free school meals, those living in the most deprived postcodes by IDACI and those with no parental history of higher education.
We support parents in less advantaged communities, focusing particularly on parents from low income backgrounds, those with no personal history of higher education and BAME parents.
