Our History

  • Established in 2012 by Tim Rhys Evans, The Aloud Charity has been dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children in Wales through singing together. With a mission to empower and inspire young people, the charity has provided opportunities for thousands of children to develop skills, create friendships and boost confidence.

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

We work with young people age 9 - 19 to provide opportunities through singing. The charity's particular focus is to encourage young men to join their local Only Boys Aloud choir, which supports wellbeing, social skills and improves aspiration.

Our Vision for a better future

  • The charity aims to be the 'go-to' organisation for singing in Wales. In the next few years we hope to have a more collaborative approach to developing projects and to empower each choir to make valuable contributions to their local community. We hope to increase our work with schools and provide appropriate wellbeing support to our participants.
