Our History

  • Butterfly Conservation (BC) is the UK charity dedicated to the conservation of butterflies and moths (Lepidoptera). BC undertakes scientific research and provides land management advice to help create landscapes fit for butterflies and moths. We run conservation programmes for threatened species and manage a number of nature reserves.
