Safe Steps is a new pilot training programme that will support 12 disadvantaged adults in Newport to gain accredited qualifications in food hygiene and customer service, combined with supervised volunteering placements at local community hubs. The project strengthens wellbeing, builds confidence, and creates clear pathways into further training, volunteering, and employment.
