Our History

  • BROHEN was founded in 2022 with a clear mission: to empower individuals and communities through education, innovation, and sustainability. What began as a small local initiative offering digital literacy sessions for unemployed adults has since evolved into a dynamic organisation promoting both digital inclusion and green skills development.

    Future Ready empowers people in our community, especially young people (16–25), unemployed adults, and those facing barriers to work to gain future-proof skills in digital literacy, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Through practical training.

Our goals to make a difference

  • Enhance Digital Literacy in the Community Equip at least 100 participants with essential digital skills such as computer use, online safety, and remote work.

  • Develop Green and Sustainable Skills Train 80 participants in environmentally friendly practices (e.g. recycling, upcycling, energy efficiency)

  • Launch small eco-friendly or tech-based enterprises within six months of completing the programme.

  • Ensure that at least 60% of programme participants come from underrepresented or disadvantaged groups, including women, unemployed adults, and young people.

  • Create a peer-mentoring network where trained participants become community ambassadors, delivering at least 10 follow-up workshops over the next year.
