Future Ready empowers people in our community—especially young people (16–25), unemployed adults, and those facing barriers to work—to gain future-proof skills in digital literacy, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Through practical training and mentoring, the project will help participants build confidence, improve employability, and engage in environmentally responsible practices that strengthen local resilience.
Future Ready Duffryn is an 8-week skills program helping young people (16–25) and unemployed adults in Duffryn gain practical digital, green, and employment skills. Participants will learn computer literacy, online job search, recycling, upcycling, and energy efficiency while receiving CV and job-readiness support. The project will train 60 residents, helping them improve employability, confidence, while reducing poverty and exclusion.
