Our History

  • H.E.A.L. was founded in 2019 to address the lack of education around sexual reproductive health and rights in vulnerable communities. Since its inception, H.E.A.L. has worked to empower young people, women, and men through advocacy, outreach, and education.

    HEAL will empower the general public by building healthier futures for young people, women, and men; benefiting society as a whole.

    H.E.A.L. supports religious communities by fostering respectful, informed dialogue on sexual reproductive health and rights, reducing stigma, promoting wellbeing, and aligning health education with values of compassion, dignity, and care.

  • Marginalised or vulnerable groups

    The H.E.A.L. initiative empowers marginalised and vulnerable groups; young people, women, and men, by providing vital education and awareness on sexual reproductive health and rights, promoting informed choices, dignity, and well-being

  • A future where every individual - young people, women, and men, in the UK, starting with Newport, Wales , has the knowledge, confidence, and access to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health and rights, leading to empowered lives, healthier communities, and equality for all.

Our goals to make a difference

  • Create safe, inclusive spaces to raise awareness on SRHR, combat stigma, and promote open dialogue among vulnerable groups in Newport.

  • Deliver culturally sensitive workshops and outreach programs that inform and inspire action on sexual reproductive health and rights.

  • Strengthen community knowledge and access to SRHR resources, supporting autonomy, wellbeing, and informed decision-making for all.
