The collaborative project led by Tredegar Park PTA, Tredegar Park Primary School, Hedyn, Urban Circle and Gwent Dragons is designed to create meaningful, accessible pathways into employment for families who may feel distanced from traditional routes into work. At its core, the initiative recognises that many parents and carers face barriers such as low confidence, lack of formal qualifications or previous negative experiences with education and employment systems. Rather than expecting individuals to immediately enter formal training or job applications, the project offers a supportive, community-based approach that builds skills in a non-threatening and highly practical way.
