The project will facilitate a series of courses and workshops to support mental health, wellbeing, and develop confidence in Duffryn, Newport. Course and workshop subjects will focus on creative and outdoor activities, confidence building and wellbeing, through a health and wellbeing pathway. This could lead to volunteering, employment or further education opportunities. The project will aim to engage Duffryn residents who are not currently accessing learning opportunities.

Subjects will focus on healthy eating and preparing warm nutritious meals, sewing skills to promote repairing and reusing garments, and cultural awareness through global festive crafts. The project will aim to engage with residents who are not currently accessing learning opportunities in Newport, breaking down barriers to opportunity and building confidence.
