  • 1. Spotlight is a mentoring programme for schools, designed to support pupils to explore their future pathways. It includes online mentoring, and an interactive one-off session to introduce pupils to the world of work. We work with local businesses to part-fund Spotlight to ensure that we are accessible to schools in the most deprived regions.

  • 2. We provide a Sector Insight programme for companies, with employees as volunteer mentees and young people in Years 10 to 13 in nearby communities as mentees. Young people will gain an understanding of routes into the sector, roles within the sector, career progression and skills required for the sector. This is a ten-week structured programme.

  • 3. Our eight-week Virtual Work Experience Programme supports Year 12 learners by providing: 1) a virtual work placement component, co-designed with you 2) a structured online mentoring component, in which participants choose their mentor from your employee pool using the mentor matching tool. This programme helps meet CSR/ESG/social value goals

  • 4. If you have your own existing real-world or virtual work experience programme or other activities, we can provide add-on mentoring programmes to complement that important work. This allows young people to reflect on their learnings from these activities, explore future education and careers options, whilst setting goals and overcoming barriers.

  • 5. Our Guiding Futures programme matches your volunteer employee mentors with young people in your preferred geographical locations. This is a generic programme that supports young people to explore their education and careers options, enabling mentees to feel empowered by their choices and excited for their next steps.

  • We are looking for corporate partners who can fund any of the following programmes: - Spotlight sponsorship (Schools programme) - Sector Insight programme - Virtual work experience programme - add-on mentoring programme - Guiding Futures programme We work in geographical areas relevant to companies' preferences and provide employee volunteer mentoring opportunities. Spotlight programme has geographical focus in Yorkshire, The Solent, Devon and Cornwall and North West.
