The Africa Carnival Fest will feature a series of festival activities ranging from; a drumming performance, West African dance, African Folk-lore, Textile costume display, diverse food display, and family fun day (Bouncy castle/face painting, African arts and crafts).
Through two powerful workshops, a panel talk, and a relaxed networking session, this project uplifts young Black men by connecting them with inspiring role models and creating space to grow in confidence, leadership, and identity. At the heart of it all is AfriCarnival — a joyful celebration of West African culture, food, music, and community. Together, Rooted & Rising and AfriCarnival are about pride, connection, and creating something powerful for now and for the future.
