We'll provide our Company and Team Programme experience for between 40-100 young people at 4 Newport schools. These unique programmes equip young people (including those with SEND) to develop entrepreneurial skills, build their financial capability and their readiness for the future world of work. In teams, they will set up and run real-life trading businesses, from market research to developing a business idea, marketing and selling their products to the public in person and online.
Our project will reach 400 young people, delivering YE's proven programmes to build job-ready skills needed to succeed in today’s workforce. We’ll work closely with local employers and schools to create direct pathways into employment through work experience placements, mentoring, and employer-led challenges. We’ll support young people facing barriers such as low income, limited networks, or special educational needs, providing tailored guidance to boost their confidence and aspirations. Our approach strengthens the local economy by expanding access to real job opportunities and fostering entrepreneurial skills. We’ll demonstrate increased employability and progression into employment.
