we aim to conduct 10 Health and Well-being full days within local communities in England and Wales free to access for children and families, aiming to bring young people together to make new friends and build a stronger community, concentrating on building Resilience, communication, team building challenges and healthy food-choices.
We would like to offer weekly evening circus workshops for our community. These free-to-attend workshops will provide a relaxed environment for individuals to meet new people, try something new and experience a sense of accomplishment by breaking down circus skills into achievable tasks. The focus of the workshops will be to reduce social isolation, increase community cohesion by bringing groups together, and improve wellbeing through positive, enjoyable experiences.
We invest in the local youth by allowing them to volunteer in the organisation and once approved by the club manager they are able to mentor younger members of the Saturday club.
The club provides a safe space for children from across Newport to attend every week on a Saturday. The activities delivered support and help the children with improving their attainment levels and confidence. We do various workshops to help with employment and health and well -being.

Since relocating to Spytty Park thirty years ago, the Club has battled with the very poor water supply. Thirty years ago, we didn’t even have a ground, so an adequate water supply was the least of our worries. Welsh Water say that they can’t solve the daily problems we face, so a stand-alone water irrigation system is essential for the club to be sustainable in the future and to continue to provide high standard facilities for future generations of Newport youngsters to learn to play the game.
