Newport Live is committed to reducing the barriers to physical activity. Easy access pool steps would allow individuals with disabilities and older people with mobility issues easy access into the Regional Pool at NISV. The Easy access steps would allow individuals to access the pool with dignity and importantly independently.
The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre is thrilled to announce the return of Wales’ largest free outdoor arts festival, Big Splash, taking place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2025. Once again, Newport city centre will be transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and celebration, following a turnout of over 25,000 visitors last year. The two-day festival features live music, street theatre, dance, workshops, crafts, and activities for all ages and is free to attend.
We are a non-profit netball club, set up 4 years ago to enable girls and women in deprived areas of Newport to access recreational netball. Our club has expanded rapidly, and we are now in need of funding for equipment and training courses to serve our expanding club. This funding will allow us to keep our fees low, therefore not creating a barrier for families on a low income.
