Through the joy of gardening, hobbies, and the chance to spend time with other community members having a warm meal or hot drink together, individuals will be able to come together and tackle barriers they are facing such as homelessness in a positive environment

Alway FC was founded in memory of Ryan O’Connor, a beloved son, father, and friend, whose life was tragically cut short at 26. His legacy lives on through this club, which unites our community with the power of football. We’re launching a pilot project using outdoor spaces to support wellbeing across all ages and abilities—from children to older adults, including those with dementia. Through nature-based activities like games, quizzes, mindfulness, and small-space gardening, we’ll promote connection, mental health, and community engagement. Held in local green spaces, gardens, and residential areas, the project will explore which activities create the most positive impact for future development.
